Do books still have CBB totals ?

I don't see much at Phoenix or Jamaica.

seems most are putting them up later and later, but it is early in the season , so maybe they are trying to get a gauge on the teams.

sides are tough to get overnight, also.

a case for actually using CRIS books, unfortunately.

seems most books are now only offering late totals on big TV games ?

They post them very late Doug...and only on maybe 1/2 the card..It seems mostly tv games...It maybe a long season for us total players

Books do this every year with CBB...later in the season the totals will come up earlier...

The books just want a level playing field....they feel the players have a huge advantage now...(<)<

If they aren't up by now, something is surely up !

I think RAS is responsible for this, maybe a bit of Helmut also.

You are correct, I have been playing only totals for the past 4 years and this is the first year that they have limited the totals from the start.

im guessing its cause its so early on as well....i would venture to guess, in another 2-3 weeks, we'll be seeing them alot earlier..

the last few years they have taken a beating early on totals so this year they are putting them up on only a few games. As they get a handle on the teams you will see more of them. Come Jan 1 you will see them across the board as normal. Even the games that are offered have low limits, Pinny had $100 limits!

RAS HAS had a huge affect on the market.........plus why put them up?..........its not like the old days where the book had to 100% cater to what the customers want.......to be honest most could care less.......its just the way it is agree or not

pinny had integrity when they took USA post up.
Class is not something Cris or Greek has.

Steak..why not post them and put lower limits on them, and let the bettors set the line?

its too much work.........the few guys that complain or threaten to leave.......you tell them thanks and good bye.....it really isnt a big deal .......the guys want these totals now and only these totals i dont want them .....id rather have a 3 hour lunch than sit here all day and try and out fox edward or billy..........bottom line is a -for me........

You guys are both right and wrong. This year is different. They always used to put totals up for the regular rotation games early in the season. THis year they are not.

THe totals alwways get put up later in the day early in the season.

They put them up in the morning in mid December or so in past years. LAst year was different in that sense because totals never got put up as early as they were going up in past years. Most totals didnt get put up until 4:30 PM or later last year for about half the season.

ONly a few books put them up too. Most books let them get beat into shape first then hang their number.
