I do. But isn't Allen completely convinced he should be a starter somewhere?

He wants to be on a good team and start. Can't have it both ways at this stage in his career IMO.

He'd come off the bench for the C's. But it's like any other situation. You play good, you get minutes.

Between the Alien and Starbury I would say we are 1 and 1 taking a chance on old guards.

I agree Rob....

He wants to be on a Elite Team and Start, but those teams Already have their players in place.

He will have to come off the Bench.

No, players like him are cancers. He is a great player but not a team player.

The league should create an expansion team for A.I. The Virginia BallHogs.

No bench players just 5 starters only since they want the ball all the time.

G Allen Iverson
G Michael Jordan(still believes he can take these youngsters)
C Michael Olowokandi@)
F Antoine Walker(i'm broke)
F Latrell Sprewell (i'm broke too)

He should go to the SIXERS! This team is stuck in mediocrity with no chance of becoming a contender with the current roster. The biggest problem is they aren't bad enough to ever get high draft picks, vicious cycle.
They should dump anyone on the team they can get value for in decent draft picks or just salary dumps. In essence tanking the season to get a better pick and clear up space for a big name free agent one of these years.

In the meantime sign Iverson for a couple million, tell him to do his thing and score as much as he can. The Philly fans are totally disinterested in this team, adding Iverson could only help. The less wins the better! Be fun to watch him climb the scoring charts even if it is superficial.

If my goal is to win a championship, no way in hell.

If my goal is to fill some seats because my team has no chance, sure.

I have to totally agree now and think he has finally proven that case because the only teams he has interest in is are the lousy ones in which he hopes to come in and be "The Man" again, and having no interest in the contending teams by coming off the bench if he has to in order to get a championship ring....

The clock is ticking.

Yo.. AI, take the paycheck and shut up. Your window of opportunity is closing faster than your ego sees it.

I wanted the Knicks to sign him. Might as well have an exciting year if we are losing. I don't think Iverson is a winner but he's a guy that is at least fun to watch and that is about all you can hope for as a Knick fan right now.

He just threw away a three million dollar paycheck from Memphis. Most likely to late to just take a paycheck and shut up now. I hope no one signs him.
Yea, he's probably not smart enough to keep his mouth shut. It'd be nice if no one signed him. Not many people would miss him.

At this point in time I would rather have a 20 year old Brandon Jennings, 10 fold.

AI has been a cancer on almost every team he has been on.

Anyone in the NBA would rather have Jennings.

You gotta be kidding ! This guy hasn't been fun to watch play for about the last 5 years ! He's a guy that will send whatever team He plays for into a tailspin as all He wants to do is hotdog and his hotdog days are well in his rear view window. He causes all kind of problems on any team as He takes valuable minutes away from young players that need time to develop.
