I'm going to Las Vegas this week to visit family. I'm about the only sports fan, so they wont be watching any of the cfb rivalry games on Friday. Which one should I head to if I just want to place a couple bets and enjoy the games?

If you are downtown, the Golden Nugget...

Olympic Garden has TVs....

On the strip, just about any sports bar...

Hilton is always good.. Not exactly on the strip but right there..

If you're in downtown then Nugget would be your best bet..

Echo the sentiments for the Nugget.
I find the Hilton way to big for my liking though.
I like the Rio.

The Plaza is another good one downtown. They have a good setup for watching multiple games.

Caesars and Ballys on the Strip are also good options.

Nugget has a cozy feel to it.. I've heard it gets crowded on Sat and Suns, its not a big sportsbook at all...

If the Nugget was in a better location, there would be no need to visit any other place when I'm out in Vegas. But since it's not, you're kind of forced to go elsewhere.

The Stadium at Palazzo. Used to be the 40-40 club...there's a book right in there. No smoking

edit: this place is probably better for a group of friends

I like Bellagio. Lots of other sites to see near the sports book. I think that is where they operate their "ladies of the night" business from. Yowzer!

Hilton is the aboulte worst for viewing, althought the book is the best. unless you could get something in private area reserved.

Suprised the "Wouldn't even show every MLB game during the Bash Golden Nuggett" is so popular. The entirety of Freemont is pretty good, since it is such a short walk between the casino's and you'll eventually find a good place to sit for a couple hours.

Lot of them offer good things. Hilton generally has the best board and best comps if you bet several hundred. Caesars if you want the mega stadium. Some of the Station casino's come close to matching downtown for a good mix of degenerate, depressed and crazy people to watch with. Good conversations if you remember they are even more extreme than the people here
