I think Cutler has a future being a QB coach in the MAC.

Willie, you could never be dumb. Stay frosty.

You didn't bet on Jay Cutler. You bet on "Da Bears"

If Trent Dilfer can win a super bowl it proves this truly is a team game.

Cutler might have played like shit, but you know as well as I there are other variables involved. The Bears weren't exactly anything to write home about in 2007 and 2008 either.

Willie. The Bears defense isn't even as good as it used to be.

You were just on the wrong side of the game.

The record for most interceptions in one season is 42, set by George Blanda in 1962. Jay Cutler would have to somehow be significantly worse than he's already been throughout this season to reach that milestone, but at 25 picks through 14 games, Cutler is on pace to notch a spot in the record books.
After tossing three more passes to the wrong team in Sunday's loss to the Ravens, Cutler is now averaging 1.8 INTs/game this year. With two games left, this puts him on pace for 28.5 interceptions.
Let's round that up to 29, which would tie Cutler with Brett Favre's '05 campaign for most interceptions thrown in a single season since Lynn Dickey threw 29 in 1983 for the Packers (he also threw 32 TDs that season). Cutler, Favre and Dickey would then be tied for 12th all-time on the single-season INT list.
But remember: This is based on Cutler's season average for picks per game. It's entirely possible that he could throw in another five-interception game and propel himself into the top 10, amongst the likes of, well, George Blanda, who also holds the No. 7 spot on the list. Although Blanda is a Hall of Famer, so Cutler has that in his favor.

Just imagine how excited the city of Chicago was when they traded for him. I fell for it too. Took the over 8 1/2 wins.

He wasn't this bad in Denver....How is he SO BAD now?

I would seriously take 90% of the NFL starters over him.

I am proud to say that I'm doing OK in rehab, and I appreciate the support I'm receiving here at theRx.

Of course, the fact that Cutler is 0-4 ATS since I started this thread helps a lot.

Steak, shame on you~~:<<

You're only as good as your offensive line. Poor decisions come from not having enough time to drop back and find a receiver before some 350lb lineman is barrelling down on you.

I wasn't too happy with Denver trading next years 1st rounder to Seattle in order to take Alphonso Smith in the early second this year......BUT:

People said I was crazy for being happy that McD traded Denver's own 1st rounder and kept the one via Chicago from the Cutler trade. Everybody thought Denver was in line for a top 10 pick & Chicago was playoff bound.

Turns out Denver is in the drivers seat in the wild card race & is still going to end up with a top 10 pick.

Thanks for sucking Jay! :toast:

the last game I watched him play, 4 weeks ago, he missed wide open receivers by 10 yards when there was no pressure. The only time he would come close to a receiver is if they were double teamed and tightly covered.

His red zone decisions are atrocious. Throws into coverage when he can throw it away. He's an awful QB that can't be defended, don't even try.

Definitely not defending him but pointing out what should be obvious to most about having a solid O line. There's a reason he hit his receivers in Denver right? The same reason you could put just about any runningback in the backfield in Denver and they'd rush for 100 ypg. The O line did their job.

Another guy that gave NFL scouts a hard on with his "cannon". He's a complete bust. Never won in college, never has or will win in the pros. Any success with the Broncos came in spite of him. He's just Kyle Boller with street cred. Cutler has zero leadership ability and cannot read a defense- he's a loser pure and simple. The Bears were fleeced.

It's just like when the NBA drafts guys because of their "athletic ability" (they can "jump out of the gym"). Doesn't mean anything if you can't play the game.

bumping a 2009 thread, and copying a stat I posted from last year

1-4 ATS, 20% in 2006
5-11 ATS, 31% in 2007
4-11-1 ATS, 27% in 2008
5-10 ATS, 33% in 2009

15-36 ATS, 29% career record

looks like Jay is having the best year of his career. 33% is literally his career year

even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while

I hope the man doesn't get hurt or anything in 2010, I want to fade his ass

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I did the Giants last night mostly because of Jay Cutler.

I know he won and covered last week vs GB, but he does win 1 out of 3 and GB gave that game away.

No way on earth the man wins two straight prime time games, mathematically impossible. Anyone who watched that game knows how bad he was, he can't think.

I love you Jay

finished 6-10 in 2009 ATS, his best year ever
2-2 in 2010

18-38 ATS for his career

is there any system that gives you more for less? I think not
