Now I want to pig out tomorrow and throughout the holiday season but I'm afraid I'll fall right back into eating all bad junk food again. I take in about 1200 calories a day with fruit, vegetables, fish and chicken making up most of the food I am eating. I walk about 45 minutes a day and in a few weeks I should be up to an hour a day of walking. Started at 233 and this morning I weighed about 225 so I'm off to a pretty good start. I try to take it one day at a time but I am really craving the bad stuff. How can I avoid falling off the wagon again???

Nothing wrong with falling off the wagon if you get back on it. I'm on a constant diet and I ate a ton of cookies yesterday. No shame in eating crap every once in a while as long as you don't make it a habit. Just enjoy the Thanksgiving food but don't eat until your stomach hurts. Enjoy the food and just add 15 minutes of walking onto your schedule for the next 4-5 days and you'll be just fine.

its impossible you could have kept that for long anyway, 1200 calories and fruits/vegetables plus exercise.....your brain would have betrayed you (for your own good) pretty soon

realistically its not easy to undo in a matter of weeks what we normally accumulate during years.....so just kept it up, its not fun to just eat vegetables/fruits 24/7/365

Your doing a great job.I would think about adding a cheat meal once or twice a week to keep your spirits up.Drink allot of water to keep a full feeling in your stomach.Believe it or not when one cuts calories drastically the body will feed on muscle faster then fat.Might be good Idea to bump up calories a bit. Also add a good multi-vitamin to cover any deficiency's.BOL

Can you eat a whole pumpkin pie if you get stoned beforehand?

Chew your food for as long as possible, our brains tells us we are full after 20 minutes of chewing.

cling to what you're doing. you're allowed to have a cheat day (thanksgiving). typically speaking you should give yourself a cheat day a week. walking 45mins a day may not cut it. you should be doing a weight training regimen as well as a harder cardio routine..
