<<I started sports betting less than a month ago and started with a 60 dollar roll. That same weekend I hit a 30 dollar 5 team CFB parlay for 400. Ever since then I began betting 50 to 100 on any given day. I fucked up big on the Tulsa v UTEP CFB game and lost .5k! So I was left with .5k and blew thru that in 2 days trying to get the Tulsa loss back. Nowadays I try to keep it at 100 per bet and I might go lower if I dont like the play as much as others
In a word, never, been doing this for a long time, I understand how much work is involved to build a bankroll, and I'll be damned if I am going to cripple my working capital that took years to build on one single three hour game, I don't care if that game is lock city of the century to infinity, just won't do it.

With me i'm a 100.00 bettor, but will go out and put down 1,000 per bet when it's one I really really really like. Bowl game season is usually when I do this...because the lines are out for a good while and it gives me a lot of additional time to cap the matchups and the more I look at some games the more I like them. To say the least this isn't always a good thing.

I do it all the time and for the kinds of reasons you mention. Certain things enrage me. For example, losing by the hook when I could have had a better line earlier. And forgetting to place a bet has burned me too. Of course the bet you forgot to make wins easily and the "make-up" game loses. Another thing that angers me is when I have a strong lean on a game but I don't bet it for some reason (reading an opposing opinion, etc.) and then the game wins. I've often felt that I "deserved" to make that money and have gone chasing it.
