I have a friend in Alberta Canada and it seems funny that she and everyone work today like it is just another Thursday. I guess to them we Americans are funny by having the 2nd Monday as another normal day.
Italian feast today..Grandma always cooks the Italian food along with some traditional stuff..ravioli, chicken and eggplant parmesan, italian sausage, turkey, stuffing..going to be a hell of a meal!
Traditional like what the pilgrims did or traditional like what Butterball tries to sell?
Traditions for me are time and a half at work and bets on the games that I usually miss watching because of family dinner. Worked the overnight, so slept through seeing the Lions first half bet cash. So I guess even 2600 miles away from any family it has been a traditional Thanksgiving
Microwaving turkey meatballs and baking pumpkin and potatos. For some reason that felt close to being right even if I'm by myself
