Florida State's gain, ND's loss.

I wish Bobby the best of luck though, I like him.

Maybe Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl in Tennessee versus Kentucky

or

Emerald Bowl in SF on 12/26 versus Arizona

or

Eagle Bank Bowl versus Army

(my pick is Army)

Wouldn't be surprised too see FSU in a Florida bowl game. Would be a huge draw for Bowden's last game.

They can't go to the St. Pete Bowl (Big East v. C-USA)

They can go to the Champs Bowl in Orlando
Fla. St. versus Northwestern maybe

They can't go to the Outback Bowl in Tampa (Big Ten v. SEC)

They can't go to the Captiol One Bowl in Orlando (also Big Ten v. SEC)

They can't go to the Gator Bowl in Jacksonvill (Big East v. ACC)

And they can't go to the Orange Bowl
(aren't good enough)

If I were Bowden I would retire from FSU and then when Jo Pa steps down at Penn State I would apply for the job!

What kind of bowl game will that be for FSU to send a legend out with a win..

Just listened to the local sports talk radio and the head chairman for the Gator Bowl, if Bowden coaches in the bowl game, they will invite FSU. Done deal.

If not, of course a 6-6 team has no appeal to them. But if it's his last game, that will sell tickets.

He said possibly a matchup with West Virginia unless a bunch of upsets happen his weekend.

They can come to the Gator Bowl. They are in the ACC. But there was some confusing rule they were talking about. Something about a 1 win rule. They explained it but I didn't understand it. So instead of taking some team like Virginia Tech, who has more wins than FSU, they could take FSU based on that rule.

Bottom line, Rick Catlett from the Gator Bowl Assoc, said they would take FSU if he does coach the Bowl game.

It makes sense. Close to Tallahassee and a large FSU fan base here locally.
