I thought he was awful last night. He work the Duke-Wisconsin game with Brent Musburger. It was painful listening to these 2.

Awful and painful is an understatement. I wanted to choke him. "This is the most important inbounds pass of the season"...."OK, now this is the most important inbounds pass"...I was ready to heave my chair at the TV.

i caught the end of the game and couldnt believe what he was saying. 15 secs left the guy for wisconsin gets the ball in stride for a dunk and he holds it to get fouled only up 2 and knight said that was a great move? dunk it and go up 4 or waste 2secs? i would take the free 2 points the guy missed 1 ft and they were only up 3. also he said wisconsin was guaranteed ot after the guy for wisconsin hit a ft to make it a 2point game with 4secs left. no bob if he misses the 2nd duke hits a 3 and there is no ot.

Usually he is excellent, for whatever reason last night he went into psycho babble mode, but like I said, usually there is nobody better.

p.s. how huge was Brent on Wisconsin last night?

How about when he stated if he makes these 2 free throws than the play of the game will be him not trying to score. It happened after Wisc broke the press and the Wisky player held the ball and got fouled.

"They still must get the ball inbounded. Throw it that way" It was pretty comical.

usually he does very good...last night was not his "A" game...but he has been much better than i ever thought he would be in the booth

I like him because of knowledge.

My favorite is still Bilas and Fran Frischilla.

I like Bilas as well, and yeah, Knight brings the coaching mentality to the booth, which I like alot.
