Better football town than Cincinnati?

For long suffering Cincinnati area football fans this year has been pretty damn sweet. UC is undefeated and playing in the second biggest BCS bowl (where they very well might get smoked, lol), OSU is in the Rose bowl and barring an epic colapse the Bengals will win the Division.

Without a doubt the best football year of my life and one that might not ever repeat itself around here

Enjoy because the Bearcats have been escaping with victories all year and they will finish with a thud in the Sugar Bowl and the Bengals will get dumped out of the playoffs in the first round. Sorry.

Ya know, if that happens, I will be just fine with it, the season as a whole has been great and Im willing to bet very few if any areas can replicate it

I'm confused by the title of this thread.

and Ohio State is in Columbus which is pretty far from Cincy.

Only had Winton Woods in the State Finals this year. They won, but an off year in the I-VI for the Queen City.

I'm a New Yorker, I am spoiled, we usually have some team in the playoffs often, but I can relate to the little guy, that has only a few home town teams to root for, it's sweeter than the New York guy.

Went to Miami U. back in the when the Hu Dey Ickey Woods Bengals made it to the BOWL

Hope they make it this year... GL

There are better football towns out there though, currently thhey should be happy this WEEK.

Hey wolf, I realize you are from pitt so I will cut you so slack :howdy:

I said cincinnati AREA, and no columbs is not pretty far from cincy. You jump on 71 and you are their in 2 hours or so. Not to mention its thee Ohio STATE university, thus their are fans spread through the entire state.

True, but even getting one state title isn't bad and had 3 in the Final 4

Also went to Miami U, and if you can name an area with better football right NOW id like to hear it! Very rare year and with Mike brown at the helm and Kelly on a one way ticket to ND it probaly wont happen again soon

TCU is in Dallas Ft. Worth....

The NFC east leader is Dallas and TEXAS is their states team....

1A and !b currently I guess.

BUT DALLAS-FTW TEXAS HAS BEEN THERE DONE THAT....

Fan turnout at the Sugar Bowl very impressive for Cincy. I thought it would be about 5-1 for the Gators but it looks pretty even.

Not taking sides, though. Just rooting home the under.
