This is obviously great news for owners of Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Pierre Thomas and the rest of the Saints. They now have a two-game lead on the Vikings for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. According to SI's Peter King, Payton thinks his players -- most playoff rookies -- will be energized by the pursuit of perfection. It sounds like everyone will be safe to use in Weeks 15 and 16.

Watch out for the invasion of the 1972 Dolphins ... the haters will be out in full force now ... saw it in 2007 with the Pats and have seen in years past with the Colts.

It would be great for football to have two undefeated teams heading into the playoffs. It would even be better for the ratings if they both can make it to the big game. Imagine all the hype and excitement.........

Oh you bet the NFL wants Colts / Saints undefeated in the SB.
And what the NFL wants, the NFL gets.
I wonder if there are any props on this?

I think the problem game for the Saints is the last game of the season @ Carolina. Carolina always plays them.

The author of that article is not kidding

I spent a #1 pick on him this season, and so far so good knock on wood

was just talking to someone about that tonight.

Saints vs colts in the SB.

One team, if both still undefeated, would be guaranteed a perfect season. It would be the biggest SB in history.
