Not many more class act players in the MLB than Curtis Granderson. Great pick up.

i found it in 3 places but here is one of them.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Yankees have acquired OF Curtis Granderson as part of a three-team blockbuster deal with the Tigers and Diamondbacks.
The Yanks did really well here, snagging the 28-year-old Granderson for Ian Kennedy, Austin Jackson and Phil Coke. It's a small price to pay for a player of Granderson's talent and personality. As part of the three-way deal, Detroit will receive right-handers Max Scherzer and Daniel Schlereth from Arizona and Coke and Jackson from the Yanks. The D'Backs, meanwhile, receive a questionable return in Edwin Jackson from the Tigers and Kennedy from the Yanks. Granderson can be used in either left or center field in New York, giving general manager Brian Cashman some flexibility in regards to Johnny Damon and Hideki Matsui, who are now likely on the outs. It's safe to say the Tigers now have the payroll flexibility they wanted while securing a tremendous haul of young players. Dec. 8 - 2:19 pm et

I kind of like Ausin Jackson, but we already have a speedy, no power outfielder in Garndner.

I was a big fan of Ian Kennedy, but it looks like he'll never amount to more than a AAAA pitcher (better than AAA, not quite MLB caliber)
Coke is fine coming out of the bullpen, but he's a dime a dozen middle inning guy.

Good pickup for the world champs.

I like the deal for the Yankees because they are loaded already and this only makes them better. They don't need prospects when they can buy top players.

I like this deal for the Tigers. They get some great prospects and have the young pitching to make it go together.

I don't like this deal for the DBacks. Scherzer would have been as good as Jackson. Plus I don't have much faith in Kennedy.

really think Detroit got a great deal. Schlereth is going to be a big time setup man/closer and Jackson will go far if he puts the work in. Scherzer and Kennedey still have some work to do but show some good promise.

Scherzer is the best of the lot.
Kennedy should be used as a back of the rotation starter.
Let's see what he can do with 26 starts.
Probably 8 and 11 4.45 or something like that.

This guy is easily the best player on the team, and a quality human being to boot....just don't sign him to a 14 year, 500 Million contract....but he is a keeper .
