Wanted to gauge my season long nhl picks and figured might as well keep a thread to do that. All lines will be from 5dimes and side plays will include OT. Might as well use dollar amounts here instead of units since this is what I will actually be wagering on the games.

With Ersberg in net a bit worried as he has had trouble out of the gate this year. Thinking it's a bit of a hedge for my kings play if he gets blown up.

Boston-Toronto have played 4 consecutive and 6 out of 7 overs in this series. Boston is still in the bottom of the league scoring 2.45 goals per game. I feel as they have gotten healthy though and they have begun to score some more goals especially getting Savard back has helped. Since Kessel has come back for Toronto they have started scoring as well.

Toronto has lost 6 straight in this series but I like them at this price with the kind of hockey they have been playing of late and bouncing back from their 7-2 loss last time.

Garon who is in net for Columbus has struggled quite a bit of late and both teams have scored pretty consistently of late.

I like Atlanta at this price as they have been real solid on the road this year and they are 4-1 on the back end of back-to-backs this year.

Wanted to lock this in before the line moves anymore against me as Lalime is probable in net tonight instead of Miller. Huet is firm for Chicago. Lalime has a 4.55 GAA in three games this year and hasn't played since giving up five goals at Ottawa on Nov. 21. He is 2-5-2 with a 3.17 GAA against his former team the Blackhawks. Huet is 6-2-1 with a 1.86 GAA in his last nine games against Buffalo.

Clemmensen has not been good in net for Florida. New Jersey does not blow teams out traditionally but they have been scoring pretty consistently of late and having Brodeur in net is always nice for a -1 1/2.

Edmonton has been playing quietly much better of late winning 4 in a row and Deslauriers is 4-0-0 with a .947% and 1.68 GAA in his last 4 games.

Minnesota has won 6 of 7 and like getting a hot team at a good value like this.

Was hoping for a 5.5 with the total but will take my chances with two of the better goalies in the league.

Miller and Lundqvist both playing at the top of their games of late and both teams have also been playing tight defensive contests of late as was evidenced even with Lalime in net last night for Sabres. Want to get this in before total moves to 5.

Can only assume the devils price is so low because of back-to-back games. I was expecting this line to be in the 170, 180 range. Devils are 6-0 on back ends of back-to-backs

Caps starting to come alive. The young goalie I would assume is the reason for this price because if we had Vharlamov or Theodore in net this would be in the 140 range. Ovechking - 16g, 8a lifetime in 17 games vs Toronto. Semin has 4 goals 6 assists last 5 games

Boston is starting to play well also and -130 seems cheap for this matchup.

Johnson in net for Pitt tonight and Florida has gone to OT twice with Pittsburgh this year, both losses for the Panthers. Too juicy a line with the back up goalie in net for Pitt, will take a stab with the panthers.

Osgood 0-4-1 with a 3.79 GAA in last 5 vs. Nashville and Rinne 4-1-0 with a 2.17 all time vs. Detroit. Was going to put a bit more on this one but noticed that Detroit is a surprisingly good 4-1 in the back end of back to backs this year. Was surprised by this considering the age of the wings team.

Kings facing Stars and Auld in net tonight for Dallas. He hasn't started since November 28th and is 4-2 with a .894 and 3.18 GAA. Dallas is 2-4 in back ends of back to backs. Kings have fared well vs. the stars going
6-1-1 since the beginning of last year.

Colorado and Calgary have each played 5 straight unders. Colorado has 2 goals in 2 games and Calgary has 8 goals in 5 games. Kiprusoff 17-7 with a 2.15 GAA and .929 save %. Anderson is 15-7 with a 2.58 GAA and .920 save %. Hejduk also out tonight, big void in their scoring punch.
