I am Capt. Matthew Stamford in Afghanistan presently, with the United States Marine Corps (USMC). I found $900,000.00 at the start of Operation Khanjari on July 2, in Poshteh Afghanistan. I intend to secretly take it out of the country but will need your assistance.

I know everybody gets scams on a daily basis and usually I don't even bother looking at it but for some reason I decided to read this. I can't believe so many people out there fall for this. I'm moreso disgusted with these scam artists that get away with stealing from people while sitting comfortably on their computer chair. I hope these people rot in hell.</PRE>

or you could start playing games with them

such as giving them a valid-looking transfer number when you 'send' them the money

or asking them to send you pictures of themselves doing whatever you want

Have a look at http://www.419eater.com/ which is a website dedicated to making these scammers jump through all sorts of hoops on the promise of getting paid.

Not necassarily getting paid, but the guy who runs it has had scammers wasting all sorts of time and money with such things as painting or wood carving and sculpture, long round trips to a town miles away to collect wired money (that isn't there) and even convinced a few scammers to get tattoos :103631605
