hanging with this guy in vegas I can vouch he can run a marathon He ran one around the pool at the mirage talking to about 268 chicks....I talked to more chicks in that 1 hr at the mirage pool walking around with CoachCB then i have talked to in my 40 yrs of life!!!
CoachCB has a motor that does not stop... as long as he is not drinking the brown stuff(<)<

Boxer, good luck dude! It's a hell of an accomplishment. This is my 10th....but I am not going for any specific time goal. If I can break 3:15 I'll be happy. Going for a 2:58 in May at the New Jersey Marathon.....

QL, I drank the brown stuff on Halloween night. I ended up shit-faced on some bus around 2:30am. It was raining outside and I was all wet....next thing I know I slipped off the seat when the bus cut a corner....I landed on my ass and my back hit the corner of a seat at the same time! My back was fucked up for 10 or more days!! Oooof!

Made it back last night....to 2 feet of snow! Ooof!
Ran the Honolulu Marathon in a pedestrian, 3:12:04. Finished 157th place (out of 20,000+ finishers). There were a shit-load of Japanease runners, more than 14,000.
Had a great time....drank lots of beer....found a few tourists....surfed the North Shore....and ate like a pig!! You would have been proud!

There were a lot of Canuk's there. The prices were no different than any big city in the U.S. They have some good happy hours also. I just wouldn't stay in Waikiki. Too many Japanease....and tourists in general. I stayed in Kailua, which is near some really nice beaches. Having access to the military bases was huge. We worked out at the base gym (the Marine Corps base) and used the beach at the AFB a few times. We also shopped at the PX and commissary, which saved a bunch.
