Last night was unbelievable. What is usually about a 30 minute commute took 3 hours. I have never seen so much snow in such a short time. After my 3 hour drive home it was snowing so hard I couldn't even find my road. Then I find about 3 feet of snow in my driveway which takes another 2 hours to clear out.
Lake affect snow is an amazing event. Twenty minutes in the other direction and not even a flake. Things have settled down a bit tonight and I'm just about to roll a fatty and relax tonight.

we had less than a centimeter today, barely dusted the sidewalks and 3 people decided to work the afternoon on at home to avoid the snowfall. I couldn't imagine dealing with that much snow, it would shut Vancouver down.

That's why I moved to San Diego in 1982 ( HS graduation year). I should have stayed there.

last three days have averaged -21 below zero wind chill. I don't like winter either.

Harry, we had about 5 inches here in CheektaVegas, was a HUGE pain in the ass! hahaha

Imagine living in Watertown, that has to be the worst place to live. They get HAMMERED every time there's lake effect it blows right over them off of Lake Ontario and Lake Ontario never freezes. I was watching the radar and they got pummeled the whole time so stop your bitching and go get high.

why should it have been any different than the previous 4999 ?


winter here sucks too.... its dark at 5:30 , temp dips into the low 60's at night.... just brutal..

and the roads are hell... took me 6 minutes to get to the bar i hang out at last night.. normally takes 4 . spring cant come soon enough.

I went to college at Oswego, which was on the other end of Lake Ontario, and right in the middle of the snow belt. One Winter was so bad that we were snowed in 3 different times. I mean we couldn't even see our cars across the street, completely buried. Couldn't get out of the house. i think it was about 40 + inches on a couple occasions. The worst we had about 80 inches in a 3 days period. Absolutely ridiculous
