at 25.....i stayed up all night on the tail end of a 4 day, over slept and didn't shave (figured i would be less noticeable if i was on time and unshaven instead of being late and shaven), and the platoon sgt in the formation to my right called me out when i walked up-- "hey, zz top!".....then my own platoon sgt proceeded to run me until i puked up the previous night's beer.

decisions. make good decisions when you're 25 and you'll feel good at 30. make good decisions at 30 and you'll feel better at 35.....and so on and so forth......no point in saying "i'm one year closer to the grave" when the grave might be one bad decision away.....
i heard someone say one time "you'll go out the same way you lived".....i believe that.....so make good decisions, take calculated risks, and at the end of the day go to sleep.....but always make it a point to do one thing that you feel is morally important on a regular basis, as it helps to cleanse the soul.....plus, if you find yourself standing in judgement before the Almighty, it might just come in handy.....

25, 29, 32, 0ver 35, get real. Of course there will be a few things that diminish as time goes by. But I had one of the best yrs of my life @ 50, sober, 2 great ladies, kids grown & doing well, $$ secure, & free to do whatever the hell I wanted to do. Life DOES NOT end over 40 it gets better, trust me I've been there done that. I started feeling old when a good lookin ladies quit giving me the "2nd look" in a mall, or groc. store, etc.! About 3 mos ago @)
Life is great live it to the fullest. My health is not what I would like, but I have lived it to the nth degree. The only "bucket" wish i missed was Halle Berry and fishing the trout streams of Montana.. Remember when you're in the 4th qtr, it's not what you did that you regret, it's what you didn't do.:toast:
