mcCoy wins

most outsatnding player award maxwell
player of year award walter camp
national qb award obrien
best sr qb award unitas

toby wins

best rb award doak walker

suh wins

best interior lineman outland
best lineman lombardi
def player year bronko
def player year bednarick

and this guy is to win the heisman

this award is a joke now and days

you cant win the best running back award yet win the heisman as a rb
not voted best player in nation yet win heisman

toby rushes wild every game and drops 26 tds, but stanford lost 4 games, so rush for 3,600 yards and play in the acc and score 46 tds but play on a 3-9 team and voters would have to takeaway what you did because your team sucks

toby
1740 yards 26 tds avg 144 12 games

ingram
1542 yards 15 tds avg 116 13 games

inram did rush for 246 vs the gamecocks, thats fkn insane
yet rushed for 57 91 51 34 vs fiu, n.texaas and arkansas and auburn

toby rushed for 181 vs usc def!!! and dropped 3tds on em
o and he ran for over 200 3 other times vs oregon wash and notre dame

last 4 games he scored
3 vs oregon
3 vs usc
4 vs cal
4 vs notre dame

not saying toby should win, but ingram shouldnt

stanford is irrelevant so that automatically disqualifies him in my opinion.

tebow was overrated this year, got in on his name.

mccoy didnt do much vs. nebraska in the biggest game, but id rate him over suh because they are in the champ game.

ingram stood out vs. florida, has the numbers, and is in the national championship game. dont care about the pre awards.

how id vote:

1. ingram
2. mccoy
3. suh
4. gerhart
5. tebow

Isn't it McCoy who they say put up horrific numbers against the only 2 top 40 defenses he faced all season?

yea but without him they arnt in the champ game. but him struggling vs. legit teams is why its a no brainer that ingram wins it.

the win vs. florida sealed ingram, and it helped that mccoy did nothing vs. nebraska.

Just because a team is irrelevant doesn't mean a player is.
In my opinion.

you have to accomplish something though. putting up numbers in meaningless games that get you to a mid tier bowl isnt heisman worthy

ingram did it when it counted, thats the difference.

toby did it when it didnt matter.

The only thing you have to accomplish is to be the most outstanding college football player

Obviously each school plays against different levels of competition each year, but that doesn't mean the talent of the other 21 players on the field has anything to do with how good or bad that one candidate is

And to those players on the field, the games absolutely did matter. Stanford was not eliminated from a share of the Conference title until November 21

You left out Ron Dayne, and the biggest bust of them all Johnny Rodgers.

god I love it when you post with a nice lil buzz going

what time is betting on this cut-off?

Results are in Friday?

Mark Ingram Sr. was a Super Bowl hero for the New York Giants, but last year he was sentenced to almost eight years in prison on bank-fraud and money-laundering charges. Then he did not show up at the federal prison in Kentucky to serve his sentence, which might cost him even more time.
The elder Ingram was found hiding out in a Michigan hotel the same day his son played Utah in the Sugar Bowl last season.
He has been serving his time in a New York City holding facility, where he’s better able to watch his son’s games on TV.
“My father has been a great influence on my life and I love him to death,” Ingram said on the podium

you guys must not have seen gerheart play much. He got effed in the butt.

talk about domination, this guy is the best back I've ever seen at the college level.

best player in college football no doubt but hey, he plays at stanford so no chance.
