If your not selling Air, Dirt, or crack, your business will probably fail,

this economy is so bad, I have been hit to the tune of less 40% for 2 years straight, and it doesnt look to be creeping up anytime soon,

I do wish you good luck!!

I use Quickbooks Online...no software to download and access from anywhere. $29.00 a month a i think for the basic package.
Quickbooks however is not an inventory tracking program. It will keep track of in and out expenses but if they have anything that tracks inventory it isnt in the online package....

Quickbooks Pro or Premier Will Track your Inventory. It will even Tell you when an item is low In-Stock and ready to re-order.

it's looking like quickbooks is probably the way, have had many on here and people i talk to in person all say quickbooks.

i'm sure i can probably find a bootleg on a forum that posts vids, music, apps, games and whatnot with links to a rapidshare or something.
But i'll probably just buy it and check it out.

someone mentioned excel, i've dabbled in excel, but with my limited knowledge of it i don't think it will do what i'm looking for, acyually for someone i'm trying to help that has a small business and is horrible with technology and does everything old school (pen and paper).

i've been googling inventory software and alot of it is fairly expensive, like at least a grand, found one that says it works great with quickbooks and was like 799 or 899.

but anyway thanks for suggestions.

I use quickbooks and have since 01. Great product, great updates, and outstanding for tax purposes. My accountant set it up for me.

Quickbooks is a good and inexpensive bookkeeping system.

However, it's not very good at tracking inventory, it actually sucks.

If you're really looking for point of sale and perpetual inventory software, you usually have to purchase an industry specific software that tends to cost a whole lot more.

What industry are you in? maybe I can suggest alternatives. Sometimes you just need to focus on a few big ticket and /or high turnover items. In such case, an excel spreadsheet might work.
