Don't mind him, he's that way with everyone.

Here's the only site I use. It has user reviews, technical info, summaries, etc. Pretty much everything you need to know about choosing a digital camera. It's also easy to use.

Here's another good comparison web site. It's cnet.com who reviews all sorts of electronics. Here is their digital camera section and it groups cameras by price:

I'm seeing good things about the Nikon Coolpics on both sites I linked to. Here is a video review on the cnet site. It's 12.1 Megapixel too!

I just bought the same camera in Quantum's post above Friday for myself. Very easy to use and I highly recommend it. Don't forget to get a memory card. The internal memory is small and can full up very fast.

I would say you are aiming too high in the price scale

At 100-200 dollar would fit the bill perfectly, don't be too impressed by the 'x' mexapixels.......few if any people would take ONE picture that would be blown up so much that a difference between 10 - 12 MP would be a factor

I have had a canon powershot for a while, sometimes I like the pictures it takes better than the ones that my wife's professional digital camera takes

Something like this http://www.amazon.com/Canon-SD1200I...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1260796507&sr=8-1 is all you need

Thanks guys...The coolpix looks like it may fit the bill perfectly. The more I think about it, these may make perfect gifts for all of the agents that work at my brokerage.

I am trying to find one with a faster shutter speed (delay between push and picture being taken). Really want a decent zoom without a huge paparazzi extension lens as well. The lower end cameras have horrible zoom. Any advice is appreciated
