Cleveland has had plenty of time to find ways to get him some help and they haven't.

I'm not so sure what would make LeBron think anything will change if he stays....

What more help does he need?

He has two excellent centers. Both still probably top 10 in the NBA.

Mo Williams scores 20 a game.

Got Jamario Moon after he showed major potential in Toronto.

Delonte West is very good at what he does.

They got him Larry Hughes before to take the scoring burden off of him.

Varajeo is a very important role player that all championship teams need.

Szczerbiak was another scorer they got. Drew Gooden was there.

This team has as much talent as most of the teams in the league and they constantly bring in guys to help.

I don't see it as a problem personally. The difference between the Cavs and the Celtics/Lakers is that big-time stars won't take big paycuts to play with Cleveland. That's the biggest reason why the Cavs aren't loaded like the other two.

But Jake, every player you just named is simply average at best, besides Mo Williams who is "above" average.

Look at Orlando......Dwight Howard.....Vince Carter.....Rashard Lewis...Jameer Nelson when healthy.

Boston...Paul Pierce....Ray Allen...Kevin Garnett

Lakers....Kobe...Gasol....Bynum

My point is....Imagine if Lebron had just ONE of those types of guys.

Cleveland has had their chances but they are content exactly the way things are & how they are going.

Lebron is crazy if he stays

Other than Mo Williams, would you consider any of these guys top 50 NBA players? Heck, top 75?

Ok, I guess Shaq. When healthy. And motivated. And in-shape.

Two top 10 centers in the NBA? You have go to be kidding me. Shaq is averaging around 10 points and 7 boards a game. Im sorry but that does not qualify for a top 10 center. This is not 2001 anymore, Shaq is no longer a top 10 center in the league.

Mo Williams is a good player.

Jamario Moon is a bum. Yes he showed potential in Toronto last year, but its not that hard to look good on a team that goes 16 games under 500.

Delonte West? You have to be kidding me. You say he is very good at what he does? What does he do that is very good? He scores around 6 points a game. Delonte West stinks.

If LeBron goes to the Nets next year he will have a way better supporting cast then he does now in Cleveland.

2010 Nets:

PG - Devin Harris / John Wall
SG - Chris Douglas Roberts / Courtney Lee
SF - LeBron James
PF - Yi
C - Brook Lopez

There are tons of other free agents that the Nets could go after besides LeBron, but that is what the team will look like with LeBron. I also didn't input a 2nd round pick, but that is a solid 7 right there.

LeBron is gone after this season IMO.

When a star can't win, it's always the supporting cast's fault.

Basketball is a team game. No one person can win a championship on their own. If a star wants to win without a supporting cast then that star should play golf, track and field, or bowling.

Disagree. Boston, Orlando and LA may have better starting fives , but Cleveland is deeper than Orlando and Boston. Don't forget they have Leon Powe too. Not a big star, but a solid big man...he'll help.
Jake T. has some very good points.
Me personally, I think Delonte West is an important part of this team. If he can somehow get back to where he was last year, it will really help the Cavs, as he and
mo Williams make an excellent backcourt.

to echo the last post - IF Powe can come back, and stay healthy, he'll be a great asset to Cleveland. He can play defense against larger players and moves really well for a big. Great guy to have coming off the bench.

I was really bummed when the C's didn't throw some money his way after he played hurt for a season and a half.

I remember back in 2001-2004, the Peyton Manning lovers always complained about Manning never having a defense like Brady had. Well, if three players (Harrison, Manning and James) are going to take 33% of the cap space, how the hell are you going to get a defense?

Same goes here ... Drama Queen James wants the maximum contract and he still wants good players on a good team ... if the Knicks (or any team) are going to land him, they'll have to give up a shitload to get him, ... so they'll rebuild again and Lebron will have more excuses.

Winners have rings, losers have excuses.

Have to kindly disagree here joe as Orlando is easily the deepest of all the teams mentioned after the additons they made.......:toast:
i agree, magics look like the deepest team and strongest bench

That's cool, Hache. Really? Orlando has a deep team you would say? I haven't seen them play that much this year yet. I know they got Jasom Williams out of ret. Don't you think they will miss Turgelou? Altough I am a hugh VC fan...I don't know why he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Like I said, I just haven't seen them play a lot this year. I watch the Cavs just about every night. I guess I am one of those sickos who actually like the NBA.

Hard to argue with all of those teams, but I have to point out; Which interior U. S. state teams have a supporting cast situation like that? An easier way to say that is which small market teams have that? ORL could be considered a small market for NBA, but its warm there. Bottom like, players don't want to come to places like Cleveland or Oklahoma City or Milwaukee.

The facts prove your wrong.

Since 1980, when the LAL won the NBA title, there have been 30 NBA Champions since than (including LAL)

Every team between 1980-2002, had at least 2 HOF players on there team or future HOF players when they won the title.

I believe it is 26 or 27 of the 30 teams have had 2 HOF players on the team.

The Rockets first title only had 1. Miami only had DWade and Detroit will not have any HOFs besides (Big maybe Billups).

How is it that LAL has Kobe for the max, but has Gasol, Odom, Artest stealing a combined $30M a year?

the lakers are so far over the salary cap it's scary.
they are like the us government, they set a budget
and exceed it. fortunately for them, the staples center
is a huge cash generator and due to no NFL in LA,
they generate good TV ratings and merchandise
sales. this allows them to spend aggressively and
they sure do.
