Now , if you lose, you get re-set to zero, and play for a lower prize ! @):)

I've watched it maybe 10-15 times under the new format.

Say you have 5k at the end of it....they offer you a question that makes it 10X more, or 50K in this case.

Every time the contestant takes the 5k, instead of going for 50K ! :lolBIG:

Out of curiosity I looked at some sample GED ( Gov't HS equivalency diploma) questions, and Yes, I graduated HS ( with honors). Those looked pretty tough 27 years out of HS, BTW !

I'm wondering if it was easier to graduate HS in 1982, or 2009 ?

I'd love to take the current GED test, to see if I pass it ? I think I would, but sure forgot a lot a stuff, 27 years later !

People that are college grad's and stuff can't pass 5th grader !

Most of the questions asked, are very easy for me.

Some throw me....

What's the first state capital, alphabetically ?

I long ago dismissed knowing state capitals as pure Bullshit, who cares that capital of Nevada isn't Las Vegas ?

Maybe a 5th grader is forced to memorize this stuff, but few over 30 can name them all, but likely knew it, in 5th grade.

Best I could come up with quick, was Boston. Wrong !

I can't stand the format of this show. The pacing is so slow.

It's agonizing to watch the question be asked, responses inputed. And then, commercial break.

Albany, BTW !

A 5th grader is a Hell of a lot more likely to know this, than a 46 year old man.

I don't care what that the capital city of Alaska is Juneau ( small town, been there), instead of Anchorage.

I might 40 correct out of the 57 states ?

5th, is biased, yet Cool !

We don't really remember the useless stuff we learned in 5th grade.

The playing field is not level

That's the way I see it !

I enjoy when the sports stars show up like Sugar Ray Leonard and Bill Golberg and play for their favorite charities. They were once fifth graders too.

Still kind of like the show but it's painfully slow. Starting to fade.
