Says a lot about the guy when all he wants to do is glorify a season from almost 40 years ago. It's sad. He has nothing else.

one of the most overrated records in history!! Played two teams with 8 wins and that's it!!! Second easiest schedule in NFL history! Combined winning percentage under .400!!!! BIG DEAL!

That Whole Phony Bunch Pisses Me Off

Griese was avg. @ best. Of the 22 starters there are probably 3 or 4 that could crack either the NO or Colts lineup. Even tho I'm a long suffering Vikes fan, I almost hope for a NO/Colt SB, great game and would insure 1 tm would smash those friggen Fins & shut em up!:toast:

But they knew how to play together, played very intelligent ball, made few mistakes, had very few clubhouse problems and just knew how to win (and, more importantly, cover each week)
I'm sure there are more than 3-4 who could crack Colts/Saints lineup.
