Yes, because there is way to much time between now and the next time the starters would play if they were to sit. Also, if you include the bye week, that's another week off. They have to stay sharp.

With a bye week they need to play - too much time between meaningful competition otherwise.

I think they both hinted they are going for the gusto.

With a chance to make history, I don't see how you ignore the opportunity to put the ultimate stamp on a professional career.

To become the first NFL 19-0 team would firmly entrench the team and it's players into lengendary status for many, many years to come.

Let's just face it; the majority of us want to see that 18-0 Colts matchup vs. 18-0 Saints matchup in the SB.
If that isn't one for the ages, I don't know what is.
