dropped some stuff off at the cleaners and was rather surprised by the price, alot more than I remembered it to be.

What is this this dry cleaning thing you mention ?

I dropped off a suit and 3 dress shirts a few days ago. The bill was $55.

i dropped off 2 dress shirts and 6 or so polo's and the bill was around $52. A few years back i worked at a customer service desk in a grocery store and we acted as a drop off for cleaners, pictures etc etc. dress shirts were .99-$1.25 this was only like 5-6 years ago

the cost of business has gone up sinificantly, mainly the gas prices and the steel prices for hangers.

I usually drop off 3 suits, 2 shirts and 3 ties and it's around $25.

maryland... there was nothing special about the shirts i dropped off, just a couple button up dress shirts and polo's was rather surprised when i went to pick them up, but i guess thats what i get for not looking at recipt at drop off. ill be looking else where next time i need it

yea i was expecting around $30 or so, those prices dont seem bad. i guess i shouldnt have been lazy to being with, just some stuff for vegas and wanted it done and out of the way

That is absolutely crazy.

A suit should be apprx $8/suit.
A dress shirt should be $1.15/shirt.

You were robbed.

CMON MAN! You should know by now that EVERYTHING in GERMANTOWN is overpriced from the homes to the restaurants and yeah the service goods. Right down the street near West Hyattsville station we got a chinese run cleaners. They charge 1 dollar for an item. If youbring in a suit or something that requires more work they might hike the price up a bit. All I see is the thugs bring in their white Ts BY THE BUNDLE.
