Good news, MP. We are turning this into a year round venture. Creating a food and clothes bank, helping with school supplies, filling needs for the home. Also Ivan's long term goal is to put some of these kids through college so they can in turn donate back to the cause. Ivan's energy seems endless. Him and his wife are very committed to making a long term difference. Along with Jae and Steve from the Time Out Tavern, these guys really care. Yesterday was wonderful. Started out with presents from Santa Bear. Each kid got a trash bag full of presents. They all got a new set of clothes with shoe, a new blanket as well as presents from their wish list. Jae did an amazing job of shopping. Looking for deals and getting the best bang for our buck. What she bought along with what Mike sent down [the Teddy Bears were a big hit] the kids had a REAL Christmas. After the gifts, the kids ate hot dogs provided by the TOT. That was followed by the pinata. Funny as shit. I think Ivan got hit in the head a few time. And finally the kids all recieved Christmas stockings. Needless to say the joy these small things brought the children was priceless. We still have donations coming in and more will always be needed. We should be able to get a good head start on making a difference all year long. There were many others there yesterday donating their time and energy. Many thanks to them and as well to all you guys. You all are a part of something special. I can't tell you how touched the Sisters that run the place were. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate Christmas that to bring happiness to a child. God bless everyone who helped make it happen. Will get the photos together along with more specifics on the plans for the future.

Oh and btw, VD you were sorely missed. Next year, you better be in CR for the holidays. Not the same without you blood.
