I kind of think so ?

I have a neighbor ( Frank). I think he's starting to lose it ! Frank leaves his trunk lid up, with a snowstorm coming, I notice it, figure I'll give him 10 minutes before I tell him about it.

I space it out, half an hour later, still up, so I ring his bell a couple of times...no answer, so I close his trunk for him, he comes to the door about at this time, so I tell him why I'm touching his car, he says "Thank's, Doug ! ", any snow get in ?....no, you're good, Frank !

Fortunately this guy has a son that lives in the same 57 unit complex ( I know the son), he moves Pop's car for the old man, for the plows that will be coming.

I won't rat out Frank ( to his son) for leaving the trunk open, to Gregg (son), he would have caught it an hour later.

I just think this guy( Frank) should retire his DL, he's getting senile, and starting to use a cane, and such. I like this old man, talk to him often, but he's losing touch with reality.

at some point one should cease driving.

leaving your car trunk open with a snowstorm coming is a sign, IMO.

All depends on the person. 31 is too old for some. My mom was 94 and wanted to take her car in for service so I followed her in to town. She drove fine, 60 in the straightaways and accelerated outta the curves.

If you keep putting dents in yours, its time for some evaluation.

The first five words that came to my mind also. Might as well quote you instead of saying it again.

Speaking of... I have a perfect driving record (well one speeding ticket...) but left my sunroof open for a few hours when it was raining. Just spaced it and the sun was up when I pulled into the driveway. Shit happens.

Ever change the wrong tire?

My wife was comming back to the office to get some paperwork and hit something on the freeway, blew a tire and pulled into the trade-center. She called us and the secretary and i went down and carried the paperwork. While they went back downtown I started to change the tire.

Never having done this on this car I checked out the instructions on where to put the jack and then jacked it up, pulled it off and bounced it. Whoops! flat tires dont bounce. Walked around to the other side, and sure enough there was the ruined tire. Quick look around to make sure no one was watching, and change the correct one.
