well its too late now but if you are flying in a plane with no entertainment system I would have suggested getting an ipod/mp3 player and load it with music and movies
I imagine a person afraid of flying prefers an aisle
the back of the plane is bumpier than the front/middle
and do NOT over do the booze nor take those ridiculous pills that put you to sleep, flying is not the time to take those unless you know well in advance how your body reacts to them
I hope you are not in an airport that has long delays while taxiing in/out (like Newark for example, I have no idea at Logan...if thats where you are )
One more, make sure you go to the restroom before you board, it must not be fun for you to go to the restroom while on flight

In October when I was going to Vegas I tried to take the train instead of flying. It would have taken three days to get from the east coast to the west coast on Amtrak. I cant believe that in this day and age there isn't a train that goes from.....lets say New York to Los Angeles in 12 hours.
I fly normally 100,000 miles a year and have no problems.
That being said one of my employees hates flying and takes ambien controlled release but I fully agree with wolfie there know what it does to your body BEFORE getting on the plane.

haha wow, the quote about newark and every other one is this thread is spot on. Flying is almost unbearable .. I spent 8 + hours at Newark yesterday.. then got on my plane to only wait an hour to take off while all the lil kids are yelling "were flying were flying!" Moms bitching cuz their kids seats aren't next to em to the gay flight attendant who is aggravated and pissy... what a fukin mess. Kid behind me kickin my seat while the mom is brain dead. I'm done flying for a LONG while if I can avoid it.
