I drove to Oklahoma to go duckhunting, I was waiting for the guy behind the counter to get my license figured out and this guy comes up and slams down a item on the counter and asks for a price check. He was very rude and the clerk told him that he needed to wait until he was done getting my license and the guy got all angry. Well a little later I was walking around the counter to help the guy get my license figured out(nightshift and computers does not go well together). The guy from earlier walks past me and burys his shoulder into me. I told him to watch himself, he said something and I told him he was a bitch and to keep walking. Instantly he came at me swinging. Well I drop him right away with a right and proceed to put him in a headlock and was telling the clerk to get security. I let the guy up and he comes at me again. I double legged him and pile drove him into the ground through a display of bb guns. We fought on the ground as I tried to control him into a head lock again. I told him I was going to let him go again and that he better not come at me again. I let him go and as I was getting up he runs and boots me in the face as hard as he could. At this point I snapped as I could have ended him earlier but wanted to go hunting the next morning, not deal with this shit. I take him down again, hit him like 10 times till he stops fighting and hold him on the ground the whole time yelling for security to control this guy and they never show meanwhile the clerk watches the whole thing. Finally after I realize this guy has nothing left I just let him go, he walks away bleeding all over the floor and knocks over a couple displays on the way out and gets picked up by the cops in the front of the store.
Sorry for the long story, but it was necessary to explain the situation.
I was wondering, does Wal-Mart not owe me any protection in their store? What if I wasn't able to control the guy and he just pummeled me? Anything legal about this? I still can't eat whole foods right now as my jaw is so fucked up from the boot to the face.
