Why should they pay good money to go watch a team that isn't doing all they can to win? Pretty selfish decision by Caldwell. Literally, he is the ONLY one who wants to go this route. It's obvious the players, the Colts fans, and NFL fans want to see a shot at history. Those players can just as easily get injured in practice next week, or in the playoffs, just like Carson Palmer did. Your 1 quarter away from getting to 15-0 and you pull your all league players. i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are playing in the cold bad weather next week in buffalo...he knows he doesnt want to have to put them in for that one, so if they happen to lose this one, he wont have to....if he puts Peyton back in, and they win this one, then even more pressure is on to play them all in the nasty weather and risk injury..

Come on, he learned under Tony Dungy, the master of mocking the integrity of the game. Every year for the past several, we've got a steaming turd or two like this once the Colts clinch playoff position. Doesn't make a difference to me, but I'd be extremely pissed if I was a fan of one of the teams competing with the Jets for a playoff position.
Maybe it's just me, but I think that this is really stupid considering the team is chasing history, it's only Week 16 and the team will have three weeks until they play their first playoff game.
