Chris Johnson would beat Desean Jackson by the slimmest of margins.

Johnson ran a 4.24 40 and didn't even lean at the finish line. Ginn runs a 4.37 40.

The 40yd and 100m dash is a completely different animal. I coach track and I know there are lots of kids that run a pretty decent 40 time, but when they line up and run the 100m dash, they crumble so to speak. The 100m requires a significant amount of endurance and top end speed to be good. Some kids do not have this and their endurance sucks to be honest.

If i were to say who would win the 100m dash, I would definitely go with jeffrey demps from Florida gators. I have personally witnessed him run a 10.2 and I know he ran a 10.01 at the junior olympic trials.

That is who would win against all the above competition...easily

d.jackson ran the 100 meter in high school in 11.2
ted ginn jr ran it in 10.5
demps 100m = 10.2 and 10.02

I would have to go with ted ginn jr. He was a legit world class sprinter in college

Just as Chris Johnson, Ginn has also been timed in the 4.2's.

It fluctuates for all of them.

The bottom line is nobody really knows, we're all having fun with BAS' question and just taking stabs at it.
And guys like this would never put their pride aside to line up and race, just as NBA players will never play 1 on 1. They're all afraid of being shown up by their counterpart....
