Agree ever so slightly with those believing that GT will defeat Iowa...........still sticking with my prediction of GT winning that game by one point.

Now, back to my question, has the Big Ten ever won two BCS games?

I'm guessing probably not.

Ohio St dominated a team everyone thought would win going away. Wisconsin beat Miami more soundly than the score indicated. Northwestern should have won their game. Minnesota lost by 1 point. Penn State won.

Iowa either wins or covers the 4. Book it!

Although what you stated does favor Iowa, I think it is only in a very slight way.

The reason I say this is because I have tremendous, tremendous respect for the quality of this GT team........more so then any team the Big Ten has faced this year in a bowl game(yes, I think GT is a better team then LSU and OREGON).

Although the GT defense may only be average, their offense can be as potent as ANY team in the nation.

As I stated once or twice earlier, watching the GT offense do battle against the outstanding IOWA defense should be something every true college football in America should be looking forward to.

I am relatively sure that Ohio State and Michigan won a BCS game in the same year....maybe not, but that would be my guess without looking it up...

DINO, keep in mind, the BCS has only been in existance for 10 years.

I just looked it up on WIKI, and surprisingly, the Big Ten has won two BCS in the same season not only once, but THREE times.

It is the perception of Joe Public.

OSU has covered the Miami, KSU, ND and Oregon games in BCS play.

They have covered 5 of their last 7 bowl games and won 5 of their last 7.

And easily covered against Texas in the Fiesta last year. Should have won outright.
