Some dont even post records, but for those that do post records, but don't post or keep record of what they're paying for the plays and how much they are up or down, do you pay put much trust in?

i dont pay hardly any attention to peoples records/picks here. i come more for information on injuries, team issues etc

however, i actually take more seriously those who post no record at all more than to those who say "4-2 last week" or "up 22 units since dec 13th" or "5-1 on MNF this year"

I seldon post my picks and have never tried to keep track of my record for the RX posters. It seems like way too many posters seem to hold you responsible when your advice or picks turn wrong. When there are contests going on, the Mods are keeping good track of our picks and this is a great way of keeping track of those that are making winning picks. Also why would anyone want to post up that they are making big $$ on a public forum. I work for a Drug Company that has a Lawyer on our staff and He always tells us to watch what you say in e-mails, Twitter and facebook because these are not private lines of communications. Just take a closer look at all the so called personal e-mails that are being shown to the world in the " Leach " debacle presently in the news.

I don't follow anyone who doesn't post a consistent record of units. I've seen so many posters posting picks of say -7 but you have to pay -142 to get to that number.

I agree with this and that is exactly what used to keep me from posting my plays years ago.

But Im talking about guys that DO post regularly.

Think about all the newer posters who aren't experienced & stumble onto a forum and see guys posting threads saying "HUGE PLAY".... "Guaranteed Play"...... or stating how strong a play or plays are to them, and those new guys dont' know any better and fall for it, especially when there is no record there to show how they have fared....

records or not i like when everyone posts freely and gives info or ideas...

just post whatever info you wish to share and let the posters look it over and see if it helps their own handicapping..

i'm much more likely to pay attention to someone who posts an honest record....however, if for some reason someone gets my attention who i'm not familiar with, i will take a moment to look at a handful of previous posts......usually that's all it takes to get me to move on

ill also disregard any pick if they use all caps, a shitload of random smilies, or lot of ****************** or @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ in the thread titles or have a team logo of the team they pick.

i honestly dont know the last time i read a "writeup" from anyone here. 9 times out of 10 its fluff that the oddsmakers knew when they made the line anyway

i do enjoy some of the comedy though......

A thread titled "Plays so Sharp They'll Cut You"

A guy the other night starts a thread in the CBB Forum "I will be posting plays beginning on March 15".....

some of this stuff really cracks me up

#1 how can you not take guys serious who have been here for numerous years and have kept accurate records?

Or were you just taking about in general? lol

I only look at guys who post picks with thoughtful analysis such as Boxslayer and Sooners...

I enjoy Ace-Ace, but do not follow him.....
