PITTSBURGH Playoff Possibilities:
1. Steelers win, Texans lose, Jets lose - Houston wins
2. Steelers win, Texans lose, Ravens lose - Houston wins
3. Steelers win, Jets lose, Ravens lose, Broncos lose - Ravens win

Defending Super Bowl champs had a wierd season that somehow had a 5 game losing streak in the middle of it and still hung in until the final day with a shot for the playoffs. I have said it before but the real problem that effected the Steelers most was the loss of Troy Polamalu for 11 games. Big Ben and the offense had an outstanding year but the defensive secondary let the team down more than once without Polamalu.

They missed B. McFadden a lot more than most people realize. Gay stunk this year, and Townsend has gotten real old all of a sudden. Someone misjudged this in the offseason, be it Tomlin or Colbert.

The loss of Polamalu was obvious. They probably win the division if he is healthy all year.

Farrior also looks about done. Great player & leader, but I think his time has come.

You make a good point regarding McFadden etc. I would wager that if you ask and get the truth back from Coach Tomlin he will tell you it was his secondary and to some extent his special teams (kickoff returns against yielded 4 TDs) that were the weak spots throughout the season.

Yep - Texans only team left alive - need the Jets to lose (somehow).

FYI - this game will be the first game Matt Sanchez has ever played in with weather under 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I heard the weather was nasty in New York but the pregame warm-ups don't look bad at all. Not sure how cold it is other than it is under 50 degrees for sure.

I don't know what was more impressive. The run by Smith or the fact Sanchez went 2 out of 2

The jets are just getting warmed up!

They are going to pull the whole thing down!

It's going to be biblical!
