You may not have what it takes in this 2010 online environment or in your current life situation. Maybe things will change and you can give it a try again. I have had to change my game up many a time as most of us here have had to do.

Thanks but, its just too damn exhausting. The thrill of winning used to be enough but, now its just dominated by the aggravation of losing. I could go 3-1 and I'm pissed off about the game I lost. It aint worth it anymore.

creeg....stop..but get a book at amazon called
Your Money and Your Brain: How the New Science of Neuroeconomics Can Help Make You Rich

u can get it used in paperback for $4 and hard cover for $10

it will not make you rich that is not the point but it does an amazing job of explaining exaclty why you go 3-1 and hate it...

and by knowing why (its all brain chemistry there is nothing actually wrong with you at all)...it will help you understand those feelings and then just about ignore them and get back to gambling on overlays and positive expectations wagering and making this a fun hobby again...

Very well said 5-team. I was just thinking this the other day while looking over college hoops numbers, and shaking my head. It truly has been a non stop battle the last few years to try to stay ahead of the game. Constantly adapting & adjusting to whats going on. What worked 2 years ago proabably no longer works.

try,try,try,..........I was just wondering how you are handling NCAABB this year (speaking of adapting.) PM me if you wish.

i have been there a few times. it is frustrating especially on those losing days or weeks. i recommended taking a few weeks to a month off and see how you feel then. depending on what you play it could be time off about 10 months

You are one step ahead of 90% of the people here. They don't have what it takes to be a successful gambler either yet they still keep doing it.

I realized I was no better than a coin flip two years ago.
