If you thought Tiger Woods' 'impressive" and lengthy list of mistresses was staggering, wait until you hear the hefty new accusation levied against film legend Warren Beatty.
This week's release of "Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America" paints a portrait of the 72-year-old actor as a womanizer who has slept with thousands and thousands of different women.
Warren Beatty is, of course, denying the wild accusation through a statement from his attorney.
"Using simple arithmetic," writes author Peter Biskind, Beatty slept with "12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on."
Evidence? Not much.
"Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography," says Beatty's attorney, Bertram Fields.
"It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said. Other media should not repeat things from the book on the assumption that they are true or that the book is an authorized biography."
Among the beautiful and equally famous women Beatty may have had relationships with (according to the controversial author, anyway) are Jane Fonda, Joan Collins, Diane Keaton, and Madonna.
Warren Beatty married Annette Bening eighteen years ago.
