i have everything but oregeno......it's now on my list.....so far i need A) blender B) pan C) oregeno

glad to finally be able to use the extra virgin olive oil (star).....can't remember why i bought it 2 or 3 months ago.....

shit this got me thinking. i used to have this website and you could check off whatever you had in your fridge/cabinets and it would spit out recipes or great ideas for things to make. it was the shit, wish i could remember. also lifehacker.com is great for recipes and mixing stuff up.

Ok, Things you Need to Buy...................

3 speed Blender ( I Perfer 5 Speed ) But No need if you are only going to use it , here and there.

1- 9x13" Lasagne Pan ( when you go to the Store, most will have a Picture to show it's a Lasagne Pan )

3 Cans of RED PACK Whole tomatoes ( RED PACK ) I Don't want to hear tat you got something else that was 3 for$1.00

1- can 6oz. Cantadina tomato Paste

1 Garic

3/4lb of Chop meat ( 85% -90% Lean )
* If you Like Pork, you can either get some Ground Pork ( 1/2lb )
* or you can use Italian sausage ( Sweet )

1 box of Lasagne Noodles ( you can get the No-Cook ones ) * Look on the Box, it will say somewhere.

1lb of mozzarella cheese

16oz of ricotta cheese


OH>>>>Forgot ( butI'm sure you have them ) You will need an Egg

EDIT.........You will need some parsley Too.......You can Use Fresh, or get Parsley Flakes in the Seasoning section

good to go with everything but the tomatoes and cheeses....have about a cup of parsley flakes in my cupboard

as far as the meat, is 3/4 pound all i need? i was expecting a bit more.....

sorrento it is, we have that here......not sure if i've seen red pak tomatoes....what about hunts?

You can go a little more....a Pound at the Most.

You want equal parts with the Cheese.

The Best Part will be the Sauce......You will have Plenty Left over
which you can Freeze, and use for something else.

i like using a pound of meat at a time....when i first started cooking for myself, i'd buy them 5 pound tubes, but it seems like the meat kept turning color and i was afraid it was going bad and what not....i'd use some, freeze it, decide i wanted to use some..... so i started buying one pound tubes so when i cook, it's easier to measure and i keep the rest froze till i want to use them.....
