They have tried to play better competition but no one wants to play them. They have an open date in 2011 and have offered to play any program away. No one has taken them up on it. You cant give them all the blame, the top teams want no part of them
It's pretty obvious after watching that game that neither of those teams are in the class of Alabama, Texas, Florida and some others. I do wish they could play so the debate could be settled though.

TCU was the #4 team in the country and would have schooled other top 10 teams not named Alabama or Florida. Boise beat the Pac-10 champ and the #4 team in the nation. Not too shabby. @)
Cincinnati had no defense the entire season. TCU and Boise would have an excellent shot at beating Texas. Both would be favorites in my mind. The SEC teams... not so much.
