Who's banned here ( permo) or on Post review ?

Methinks some master list might be of interest, or at least those banned should be known to the masses ?

One could say Beantownjim is on PR for Cap lock violation and minor racist comments until 4/15/10, for example !

We as gamblers are supposed to keep records, well then there should be a record when a site bans a guy like PO69. He's not a friend or enemy to me, met him the year of the shirt. I had one financial deal with him for a few hundred a couple of years ago, PO came through in good time.

Out of the approximately 61,000 registered users here at the Rx around 3,400 are banned (some go back as far as the year 2000). I cannot post a list because it would take about 12 hours to type it as it is not in a format that allows only for cut and pasting the user names. Most are ghosts, shils, touts, bashers and spammers.

A handful of maybe 50 are recognizable posters banned for one reason or another over the years. Another 50 or so are banned because they registered very profane usernames that I won't even post an example of. (ok one Wilheim'swhore for example)..There are a lot worse that involve the name mods and owners going back 10 years almost. Some while profane are actually comical..

Here is an example of one generic banned poster in the format that they are kept in:

ABCSportsBetting.com abcportsxxxxxx@xxxxx,com 11-05-2004 11-05-2004

You can see by the name he was a shil for the website ABCSportsBetting.com then the second item is his email addy (edited) and the first date is his date registered and the second date is his date banned.

All 3400 hundred are in this format. You cannot just highlight the user names and cut and paste it.

I would have to edit out 3400 emails addresses to print the whole list and that is not going to happen.

Over the last 4 plus years I have offered amnesty on several occasions and some banned posters have taken me up on it and some haven't, probably because they stopped reading the forum.

I would estimate 75% of all banned posters have zero posts.

Many are banned because of their IPs - we get spammers from places like Russia, China, and all kinds of African nations like Nigeria. We know from experience that 100% of the time these type of registrations are never going to become contributers to the site.

FYI - whenever a veteran poster like PO69 is banned the entire Mod team will vote on the banning with a majority rules calling the shot. I rarely outright ban a veteran poster without letting the entire Mod team to vote to keep the process fair. Also I usually abstain from voting one way or another to make it even more fair.

PO69 has had three separate ban or not ban votes and lost all three but was still given 2nd chances twice at least. His latest vote was last week a unanimous NO with one abstention (me).
