I'm going to take a Wild Guess here....

Iowa QB Richard Stanzi is Currently Listed as Probable for Tonight's game.
He has missed the pass 2 games, and Just might not be OK.

If this is the case.....IMO, Iowa will be in trouble with their Back-up QB

You Just Don't want to see, Vandenberg behind Center !!

Thought of that also, but the Georgia Tech defense is nothing special. I think the real question is whether the Iowa defense, as tough as it is, can stop the option running game of the Yellowjackets. Personally, I think they can with the amount of preparation time they have had. If they can't, it will be a long game with or without Stanzi.

Missou and houston had 5 weeks to prep fo rthe option but could not slow it down.

Understood. But Missouri and Houston aren't exactly known for their defensive prowess.

Iowa will win the game outright. I've got some at 4.5, some at 5, and just took more where I bought it up to 6. I am no Iowa fan by any stretch of the imagination. I am also no football handicapper by any stretch either. Good luck.

Every small player on my sheet is on Iowa. Must be some talent on Ga Tc.

Happy New Year Judge!

The strength of Georgia Tech is a very good option running game but not a whole lot more. Most teams just can't stop it because they don't face it that much. However, the Iowa defense should have a decent chance IMHO but if they can't the Hawkeyes have no shot. I'm betting they can but it is the amount of the line movement that is surprising to me.

Is it that hard to move a line between 4.5 and 5.5?

I mean, its not like they worry about a 5

.... and the teasers are at 10.5 and 11.5, so not worries there either ... and if someone is going to tease GTech, go for it.

One guy said a bowl win depends on what you do in practice.

You get 15 extra practices ... so did you practice solely to win the game, or did you try to get some young players a little bit of "spring practice" time for next year? If I could figure that out, I would REALLY be able to cap bowl games.

Cincy, you are correct. Not much of a move at all. However it appears there are some 6s sitting out there.

just curious, as I am on Ga Tech as my favorite bowl play this year...im not knocking your selection, but just curious, u said you had it at +4.5, and +5, and think they win the game outright, why would u then "buy" to 6 again? much better value on the moneyline, if u are confident....again, just asking, as you may be more right on the game than me, i wouldnt be shocked...just didnt understand the reasoning in that post

I'm seeing about 75% on Iowa and 25% on GT

about 80/20 with over being the popular one.

One of the more lopsided contests I've had.
