He clearly won't be in Denver anymore.

For bragging purposes later on, which team is going to land this difference-maker on offense?

When Word first came out about his Troubles ( Ther a Thread around here somewhere )

I said a Prayer that The Jets would get him......

I will say that Prayer Again, during Off Season. We Need another "Real" WR

I Know he's Trouble...But So was Edwards....

GIVE ME TWO TROUBLE MAKERS ON EACH SIDE OF THE FIELD !!! @):)

I can tell you where he won't be going and thats Tampa. Even though they could really use a WR they are far to cheap to sign anybody of any significance. Word is they had a good chance at landing Bill Cowher but they didn't want to pay him more than 5 or 6 million a year.

The Redskins got the bucks and they are nuts not to grab him and hire a coach who can control him - someone like Art Monk who he will have to respect. The guy is a monster on the field when he wants to be.

The Pats won't spring for his contract demands they are going to rebuild thru draft.

No way Marshall comes to Chicago

that would make too much sense. Besides, being a little bit short on staff and money, a top 10 paid defense ranking in the bottom half, aging players.

it would only make sense to pick him up, thus da Bears nation will do nothing with this possible duo.

You can forget about Chicago. The cupboard is bare....They have nothing to offer.

Tough to say if Shanny would take another crack at him given his off the field problems.

I believe he will playing in the California Penial League.

They've had a hard-on for him for awhile supposedly and where they will be drafting fits good for the 1st & 3rd that he will likely command.

2) Denver
Despite BM's spotty history under two regimes now...He has shown signs of learning & maturing from each episode. It's not out of the question that he and McD kiss and make up. I just don't know if Denver can find that fine line of a mutually agreeable contract. As a franchise, you can't risk too much on him given his past but too little is a slap in the face. BM sees $$$ as respect and he HAS been underpaid. Dumervil is a bigger priority this off season.

3) Miami
They need a #1 in a huge way and I'm sure their celebrity ownership would like to make a splash. Will Parcells agree?

Dallas could flip Roy Williams and a draft pick for him if they have an early exit.

Marshall signed his $2.5M, one-year tender on Tuesday, so it's essentially a five-year, $50M deal. With $29M in the first three years, he's now the highest paid receiver in NFL history. In dire need of a No. 1 wideout, the Fins are taking a big gamble on a player that's one off-field misstep away from a lengthy suspension. Marshall will be a difference maker on Sundays, but a contract like this for such a knuckleheaded player isn't Bill Parcells' style.

If you go strictly by his on field performance, than BM is worth every penny of that contract...

Denver had no problem paying him in that neighborhood....It's the guaranteed portion that made Bowlen balk. In the wake of the Cutler deal last year...people will try to pin this on McD but I'm sure Bowlen had his mind made up even before McD was hired. Supposedly even Shanny & Bowlen were in agreement in that regard.

At any rate....The Broncos did a good job at maximizing his trade value considering what a dump the WR market this off season. (Boldin, Holmes). Two seconds for a talented but problematic WR that you didn't want to pay anyway? Especially when everybody knew he was gone.

It could be a bargain for Miami as well provided Marshall behaves. He's one strike away from an 8 game suspension & from where I sit, 25M guaranteed & living in South Beach looks like a 98mph fastball.
