Since 1993 At least one #1 seed from each conference has reached the Super Bowl except for the 1998 and 2008 seasons when neither made it. If we do the odds it looks like once every 10 years both #1 teams choke away home field advantage in the same year and since it just happened last year I don't see it happening again this year.

What about an option for both teams making it?

Neither makes it. Worst playoff #1 seeds in years.

Colts get bounced in 1st game after having 4 weeks off, it's tradition

Saints seem to have lost that magic too

Vikings vs Chargers / Pats winner

I am trying to think statistics here and it seems to favor the Saints.

1) Can Green Bay fly to Arizona, fly back too GB then fly back to Arizona again then win then fly to New Orleans on a short week?

2) If Arizona gets torched via the pass by Green Bay and somehow escapes can they fly into the dome and all of a sudden defend Drew Brees?

3) Can Dallas really beat Philly 3 times and New Orleans twice in the same season?

4) Minnesota isn't a good road team I can't see them beating New Orleans after losing @ Arizona, @ Chicago and @ Carolina in three consecutive road games.

As for New Orleans they played only one quarter of football vs Dallas and still had a chance to tie the game on the last drive. The Tampa game was just a fluke they went up 17-0 and got conservative on the play calling and missed a game winning field goal after Tampa returned a punt. I think the pressure of going undefeated has worn off the locker room and Payton has been saving Reggie Bush all season league just to unleash him on the playoffs.

You really think the Jets/Bengals/Ravens have it in them to win at Indy? I don't think my Ravens are capable even if we do somehow get by NE.

I don't see the Jets or Bengals doing it either.
