what's crazy, is I met this broad and her friends one time. We were in Saratoga for a Poison concert (don't laugh), and recognized these girls in a bar as we had sat next to them at the show.
we start talking to them, and she starts showing us all these photo's of her and robbie.

I know he's made some mistakes and a lot of other players didn't like him as a teammate, but I've been an Indians fan for about 45 years and he was the best all around player I've ever seen wearing an Indians uniform.
And he was a little past his prime when he played for Cleveland. IMO numbers don't do him justice. You had to see him play everyday...tough as hell in the clutch as well.

Some voters just wont vote players in their first try ever. Thats why so few get in on first ballot and also why nobody gets unanimous selection.
Alomar just missed it this year. Barring any unforseen events, (PED admission) he is a lock to get in next year. Like a 98% chance without exagerating.
