Do You Think This Behind The Basket Shot By LeBron Was Intentional To Counter Kobe's Similar Shot A Few Weeks Ago?

Sure seems to me that every time Kobe Bryant does something, Lebron James feels like he isn't going to have all the attention going to another start player and tries to counter with something of his own.

I believe it was last year Kobe lit a team up for 50+ points, and the following night Lebron decided to take a few more shots than average to reach 50 himself.

Now this year, Kobe makes an amazing shot from behind that basket, and here it is just a few weeks later, and Lebron takes, and makes, a similar shot.

When I watch the replay, I believe that LeBron intentionally turned to the baseline behind the basket to attempt this shot. Lebron, and every other NBA player, knows where they are on the court even with their back to the basket. It looks to me he had been practicing something like this and knew exactly where he was, and exactly where he was going to be taking that shot from.

I just don't think this guy can stand to be bettered by someone and has to try and answer with with his own......

In fairness, the double team was forcing him that way. Not sure he planned it.

Reminds me of when Kevin McHale broke the Celtics scoring record
of 56, and Larry told him during the game he should go for more.

Just a couple games later Larry, to show he was boss, broke
McHale's record with 60.

The infamous game where the Atlanta Hawks players were high-fiving
each other during Larry's shots
