'batistas hole in the wall'(italian)..behind the barbary coast(i refuse to say bill's gambling hall)
and 'mon ami gabi'(french)located in the paris....are two of my favorites and are reasonably priced...unlike emerils' place and bobby flays mesa grill ..which, although they were both terrific meals..the atmosphere and prices were pretentious..and that's being kind.......

Hugo's cellar at 4 queens is nice, and a good place to bring a woman.

Of course, My First Choice will be Cafe Martorano at the Rio.
If you have Never been there......It's a Must.

I'm Not a Sushi person, But the Wife is..and LOVES Nobu at the Hard Rock.
The other choice would be Sushi Roku at Caesars, but Double the Price.

As far as Steak, Most are the same....My Choice would be SW Steakhouse at the Wynn or Kokomo's at the Mirage.

Yes, Vic & Anthony's is one of the Better Steak Restaurants around.
It was a Great Meal and they make a Great Steak.

I was just thinking that $tinky would be staying on the Strip, and even though V & A is a Great place to eat....there are Better places on the Strip.
If you is staying Downtown...Then V & A would be the Place to GO.

Smith and Wollensky Steakhouse on the strip is a must for a steak lover. They have a porterhouse the size of a trapper keeper. Bring a couple c-notes.

I would have said this ( been to the one in NY, a few times ) But I think they lost some edge. Over-priced, Over Rated compare to others.

I went to the S&W in Boston in 2006. I ate the best baked potato I've ever tasted there. The steak was pretty good too although it's pretty tough to f up a filet.

They had slices of cake that were a foot long.

The Palm in Ceasar's Forum

Joe's Crab in Ceasar's Forum

Japanaise at the Mirage for sushi

You can't go wrong with any of these.

We went to Prime on our last trip and it was good but I think SW Steakhoue at the Wynn was better.
