i hope they get the death penalty. kiffin had something building at TN for sure but he pissed off a lot of people and seemed to put at all in the spotlight too much making him a huge target for any minor violation to be all blown up.

I'm pretty sure Kiffin had an "escape clause" in his contract to allow him to be the Head Coach at a few universities that gave him offers much like Lou Holtz had with Minnesota before he bolted to Notre Dame.
Standard operating procedures. Parents of potential recruits would be smart to find these things out before committing their kids to such a university. Current players should be allowed to transfer without penalty under such circumstances.
oh, our time is coming.....that road game at cincy next year doesn't seem as daunting now, and i don't expect to see FSU put up much of a fight in Norman.....texas has peaked and will start trending down next year.....TT is done, OSU is a pretender and nothing more.....could be back to the basics with OU/Nebraska next year in the Big 12 title......

as for carroll, hes toast. he sucked it up in the nfl before and will fall flat on his (two)face again. waaaaaaaayyy overrated. anyone who gives away a nat'l championship cannot be considered a good coach
