i had heard the word "scalp" thrown about, but didn't really know what it was today until i looked it up. since i just looked it up today, that means it'll probably take at least a couple months for me to truly get the hang of it. from what i understand, it's basically betting against yourself at odds that guarantee a profit. to do this, one must have more than one out.
sharp. what the fuck is a sharp? i would venture a guess by saying that a sharp is someone who will take a guaranteed $20 profit before risking a $100 on a -110 bet.....a sharp also uses more than one out.
square. what the fuck is a sqaure? i would venture a guess by saying a square would pass up a $20 bill for a 50/50 with a $100 bill....repeat the process until broke and butt hurt. a square will often use just one book and accept the odds available. also known as a degenerate.
middle: an attempt to bet 2 sides of the same game in the hopes that both may win. an understanding of line moves is a must.
coin flippers: me
handicapping: pays off in the long run. perhaps the best insurance against going broke, as long as one does not get stupid.
getting stupid: getting your asshole kicked through your teeth because you bet too much on game one, and doubled on game two. when will you learn?
money management: your real life spending will reflect how you manage your gambling money. if you're compulsive at wal mart, you're gonna go broke betting.
ok......now for a cool closing phrase......
"we're all victims of......the razor's edge"
