I hardly ever complain about officiating but in this one the calls are all going one way.

The Zebras are killing the Jets little by little..I am not saying they are making bad calls, just to much ticky tack stuff these days in the NFL.

Officials have to use judgement with some of these calls, this is not Pop Warner Football where you teach kids about playing strictly by the rules no matter how minor the infraction.

they need to change the possession rules on catches....i don't think it was a bad call based on some of the other plays that i have seen ruled incomplete this year

Thats why home field is very important. 75% of calls go to home team. You see this all the time.

I agree, the overturning of the pass from completion and a fumble to an incompletion was ridiculous. Not only was the interpretation wrong, but there was absolutely no indisputable video evidence to change the call. They the blocking in the back calls as well are keeping the Jets backed up deep inside their own territory when starting almost every drive.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying the refs are favoring the Chargers and calling this game that way. I have always said this - pro football should be like the NBA and the NHL when it comes to playoff officiating and allow the players to play moreso than they do during the regular season.

Blatant penalties are blatant penalties should be called but breathing on a wide receiver on pass coveraging is another matter.

Now the calls all seem to be going with the road team. Two guys eye each other up and hit each other with their helmets.... Penalty on Chargers ? How does that make sense ! It should have been a foul on both offsetting or am I seeing things ?

That is my point with NFL Refs. Kicking a red flag for a 15 yard penalty. They call these games like they do preseason games.
