Is the 2010 NFL schedule out yet?
Does Minny play Dallas next season?

The NFL won't release the complete 2010 schedule with dates and times until April but the Vikings opponents are set now that the Arizona Cardinals have won the NFC West. Here is a look at who the Vikings will play next season with either Brett Favre, Sage Rosenfels, Tarvaris Jackson or a yet-to-be determined player starting at quarterback for them.
Home: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Dallas, New York Giants; Buffalo, Miami, Arizona.
Away: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Philadelphia, Washington, New England, New York Jets, New Orleans.
If Favre returns, and at this point nobody knows the answer to that one, I would guess the Vikings will play six night games with at least one being on a Thursday night on NFL Network. Three teams are allowed to play six prime-time games and Favre being on the Vikings roster makes them a likely candidate.

What were they supposed to do? Kneel the ball down with 2 minutes to go?

Dallas wouldn't have taken kneel downs after getting the ball back. They would've continued to run plays so they have nothing to cry about.

I'm so tired of seeing so many players get up after a play and look at the crowd, pump their chest, flex their muscles, etc bringing attention to themselves. Act like you've been there before and just did your job. What do think Dick Butkus says to himself watching these clowns. It's the me generation. Man, it's a team that wins or loses.

I hear ya.......but the Cowboys took it to another level Sunday.

Marion Barber busts for a 4 yd gain and he got up like he just busted 13 tackles and rambled 40 yds for a TD..............

I have to disagree with you. You must understand the adrenaline that you HAVE to keep to be successful out there. By celebrating, you keep that going and develop that "edge" over your opponent. You get pumped up by team mates before the game ala drew brees pregame stuff, then you have to keep it up during the game. If you don't, you might find yourself being carted off. Not sure if you ever played sports at a high level, but you have to be an athlete to understand

:lolBIG: Ever see Barry Sanders, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Walter Payton, Marvin Harrison, John Lynch, etc., etc. do that shit. You don't HAVE to do it to have an edge.

It's called entertainment gentlemen. That's why they do all that fist pumping, chest bumping etc. I was thinking about that yesterday while I was at the Chargers game.

They have these beautiful Charger girls waving their gold streams to the beat of the music while jets....no not JETS...from Miramar air base does a flyover after the Star Spangled Banner. Rockets go off, cannons go off and the crowd goes wild. Very easy to get caught up in the moment. They have to give you something to make up for the big bucks they charge for the seats.

I played football, basketball, baseball, bowling and golf, all at a high level except the latter and very much understand the adrenaline and focus required to be successful. Not sure how old you are, but in the last decade or more, this practice of seeking attention for making a play would make the greats in the game turnover in their sleep. Most of the Hall Of Famers of the past would rarely point attention to themselves. They would just bust someone in the mouth, get up and do it again. No fanfare. They played the game to win, not to bring attention to themselves. Sorry, but I suspect I've been around a lot longer then you and played and seen at least two generations before this "me" generation of today and simply don't agree with your argument.

To each his own, gentlemen.

Bagiant makes a great point!

Do you pay to see players score a TD or even make a tackle/big play and just get up and go to the huddle? The majority of fans will say no. They pay to see players celebrate, it's all about entertainment nowadays compared to in the past. That is probably the best argument.
