Depends on the time for me. If I have to be up too early then I'll normally drink a cup when I get to the office (though I'm fine before) just so I can be productive, but if I wake up naturally I'm fine without one.

Don't get any "buzz" from caffeine. Maybe if I drink a triple espresso I might feel a little jittery, but a cup of joe doesn't change my mood at all. And if it doesn't change my mood, and just yellows my teeth and makes my breath stink, what's the point.

Quick story....I was in Acapulco w/the wife 17yrs ago...After a long, long night of drinking...

I got up to have some coffee....and the smell of it almost made you puke...

I quit that day...and have not had a drop since....

funny thing is...I use to drink 4 or 5 pots a day w/o even blinkin'...
